6th Formers get a taste of IT at One Central Park

 

Sixth form IT students at The Manchester College were given a taste of Higher Education (HE) IT courses at OCP. 50 students attended an information day with course taster sessions, a tour of the facilities at the One Central Park college campus and Q&A Sessions.

After the taster sessions, students had lunch in One Café, mingled with tutors and asked more questions. The morning came to a close with a prize draw for an iPod Touch won by lucky National Diploma Student Raja Rehman Aslam (pictured).

Co-organiser Neil Raynor said: ‘The students were impressed with our facilities and had fun. We intend to run this event again next year.’

The Manchester College offers a range of IT courses at university and degree level as well as school leaver and adult courses.
