Start-Up Britain Summer Tour comes to Manchester Science Parks

 

Start-Up Britain is a major initiative set up by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs to celebrate, inspire and accelerate enterprise in the UK. This is a response from the private sector to the Government’s call for an ‘enterprise-led’ recovery and has the full backing of the Prime Minister, the Chancellor and HM Government.

Start-Up Britain is on a tour of the UK's enterprise hotspots and the bus comes to Manchester Science Park's main Kilburn House, Lloyd Street North site (M15 6SE) on Wednesday 24 August between 1-4pm.

The bus will be visiting regional enterprise and innovation centres, as well as schools and universities across Britain. Entrepreneurs will receive mentoring and advice from successful entrepreneurs and business leaders. The tour covvers the following locations across the UK during August and September:

August:
Monday 22nd - Bristol & Cardiff
Tuesday 23rd - Birmingham
Wednesday 24th - Liverpool & Manchester (MSP)
Thursday 25th - Sunderland
Friday 26th – Nottingham & London
September:
Monday 19th - Brighton
Tuesday 20th - Hampshire & Cambridge
Wednesday 21st – Shropshire and The Black Country
Thursday 22nd - Sheffield
Friday 23rd - York
