Manchester College Animation Student Nominated for
'Little Chip' Award

 

Joe Ackerley, who is studying 3D character animation at One Central Park has been nominated for a Little Chip Award alongside students from MMU, The University of Salford and UCLAN.

The Little Chip award is the student category of the Big Chip Awards, which celebrate digital design in the North of England. Students enter digital work like websites, mobile apps or animation that are judged on their creativity and technical ingenuity.

Joe’s tutor, Colin Ralph, encouraged him to submit his animation, Little Vinnie Big Shell about an angry tortoise. 

Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 16th June.
