OCP Student wins Peter Jones Academy 'National Entrepreneur
of the Year' Award
Peter Jones announced the highest achievers from this year’s graduates of the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy at a ceremony on 22 July to celebrate the young entrepreuneurs their BTEC Diplomas in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship at a number of sites across the UK - including One Central Park in Manchester.
Out of 145 students, Grant Ridley (who studied at OCP)was awarded the revered ‘National Entrepreneur of the Year’ award for his passion and business acumen.
Peter Jones said Grant is
"a shining example of a young, ambitious entrepreneur with the skills and motivation to realise his full potential and live out his entrepreneurial dreams"
“The Peter Jones Enterprise Academies encourages a ‘go-getting’ attitude and a winning mentality, and collectively our graduates represent an exciting new generation of entrepreneurs that our country desperately needs to get itself back on its feet.
This year’s graduates achieved the highest grades of any previous year with half achieving the top grade-set of distinction or above.
Peter Jones also awarded the success of 10 regional entrepreneurs of the year from the seven Peter Jones Enterprise Academies across the UK with One Central Park student Nicholas Bannister winning 'Regional Entrepreneur of the Year' and Emma Walker 'Ambassador of the Year'.
